Would this be insider trading?
Trading stocks or options on consumer credit card information before it is made public information.

- Since you have access to information by virtue of your position or someone elses position, than yes...this is insider trading. You would have to wait period of time before that information became public. I know this because I have my Securities Licenses, and work in Compliance. This is NOT something you want to screw with!! The least can be done to you is that you have to pay all that your obtained through this information...thats the LEAST. Also, don't think about releasing this information early...or leaking it out... as this willl land you into a whole different world of hurt. hope this helped.

- Trading stocks or options on *any* non-public information is insider trading, doesn't matter what kind of information it is.
