- options is the most RISKIEST way of investing there possibly is. If you wnat something that is risky but not that risky, look into penny stocks. Check out these symbols RAD LSCC TQNT open an online trading account.
- The CBOE has a learning center with free tutorials at http://www.cboe.com/LearnCenter/default.aspx The OIC has free podcasts at http://www.optionseducation.org/seminars/podcasts.jsp Both of these are reliable sources. Once you have gone through the freebees from these sites, I still recommend you read one or two good books before you start trading. Any of the books in the bibliography at http://www.cboe.com/Institutional/Bibliography.aspx will have good, accurate information but be sure to scan the book at a bookstore, library or amazon.com to make sure it is written in language you can understand. Two books I recommend you consider are "Options as a Strategic Investment" by Lawrence McMillon and "Options Volatility & Pricing" by Sheldon Natenberg. You might also want to consider the books shown at http://www.mdwoptions.com/ because the author, Mark Wolfinger, answers questions on the message board at http://messages.yahoo.com/Business_%26_Finance/Investments/forumview?bn=4686677 using the handle "dagnyt."
- Options trading is a very hard subject / investment tool to handle. I experienced it since i also started from a newbie too. That's good to learn everything about "Options Trading"... But the word of "caution"... You must prevent / avoid been Information Overloaded. Before buying any Options Trading study material, I think it would be more appropriate to learn the basic / surface of the options trading first... Here is the site. http://investopedia.com/articles/basics I recommend it Coz:- 1) it' totally free and resourceful site covering all the basic knowledge of options trading.. 2) it will save you a lot of money once you handle the basic knowledge.. as in the advanced stage, you will know what is he area of options trading knowledge you need to improve later... So, to avoid buying options study material blindly... Once you have handled most of the basic knowledge in options trading. That's the time for you to leverage yourself to advanced level in investing options trading. The advance level options trading study material I used to study when i was a newbie is the http://www.optionsuniversityblog.com/options101.php resources. Coz it's very comprehensive options trading study material for all newbies and advanced traders. In conclusion, my personal advice for you... Don't trade too aggressive when you are still new in options trading especially in the unpredictable and highly unstable market condition right now. Take your time to study hard on options trading and trade safely & carefully at the same time in order to practice yourself... Finally, you will stand a chance to trade them in larger amount & become an expert in options trading once you are able to handle the small one & build the strong foundation on it... Cheer...
