Do you really understand the McCain Tax Plan?

Think about this George Bush gave the Rich a Tax Break... McCains plan wants to continue Georges policy and a person making 2.87 Million dollars is going to recieve a 3/4 of a Million bigger break. Obama says that the country is suffering and we need to take the tax levels for the Rich back to what they were under Clinton. Clinton had given them a tax break then too. I'm sorry but as a retired employee of United Airlines that watched these people run away with my retirement, I have little empathy for the rich. They ran it into bankruptcy and walked away with parachutes and threw us out the door at 30,000 feet. Those that stayed in management, the top 400 managers received millions in bonuses and stock options coming out of bankruptcy. The employees that stayed got a job.

5. After the $ 1 trillion dollar bailout all tax plans are off the table, regardless of what McCain says. We increased out debt astronomically under Bush and McCain says we can expect more of the same. Any tax plans made 6 months ago are so stale they are useless. I understand that under the McCain plan we won't be forcing businesses to pay higher taxes I understand that under McCain we won't be raising taxes to record levels to pay for more wasteful spending I understand that McCain has NEVER asked for earmark spending I understand that in Obama's short term in the Senate he has requested over 900 million dollars in earmarks, that works out to over 1 million dollars per day - THAT MONEY COMES FROM HIGHER TAXES
8. don't fool yourself. i'm old enough to have gone through the economy tanking before. the last time it took 2 of the largest tax increases in history to get us out of it. one under reagan and one under clinton. taxes will have to be raised no matter who's in the white house. and you better believe it won't be just for people making over $250,000 per year. oh, and it's not the guys that got the golden parachutes that screwed over the american taxpayer, it was congress that bailed them out and screwed us in the process. we'll be payng that bill for some time.
9. I do not understand anyone's plan with the bail outs coming fast and furiously. I agree with you about the big wigs making off with all the money. That has happened in previous jobs of mine as well. Now that most of the industry has left my area and what is left is reducing forces I work in education and am paid by the taxpayer which still makes me nervous as the taxpayers are in decline. We need to save the working people.
10. If you make $30,000 a year you now pay $2,500 in taxes. When Obama lets Bush's tax cuts expire (something he gets away without calling a raise because no action is required) the rate will increase to $4,500. Obama will raise your taxes; I'm sorry you are so blind that you can not see it.
11. Hate to say this but yours is a stupid question. The Bush tax cuts helped everyone rich and poor alike. I believe every taxpayer got a 10% reduction. Your notion that the rich got a bigger break is because they pay a bigger share in the first place. Most taxpayers who make minimum wage pay no taxes after the Bush tax cuts. 10 % of 0 is 0. Is that math to hard to understand? Also for your info if you are so stupid to have your retirement all in one company you got what you deserve. I am sick and *** tired to pay triple for an airline ticket because the airlines are almost forced to pay their employees triple what they are worth and then pass the cost onto the passenger. Are you too stupid to understand that 40% of the income tax paid in this country is paid by the top 1% of wage earners? I will answer my own question yes!. Obama raise almost everyone's taxes and increase welfare benefits. He also wants to punish those who are responsible to have health insurance. Your heath insurance which you now pay for yourself or provided to you by your employer will be taken away and replaced by a gov't run plan. No longer will you get a doctor's appontment withinn a week but maybe withins a year. Don't believe me go and get the facts for yourself! McCain's palns to decrease taxes for EVERYBODY McCain will not play rich against poor.

You Liberals are all the same... you scream for the rich to pay more taxes but don't pay them yourselves (i.e. the Kennedy's and their estate taxes that out of $300 million pay only $150,000, or Kerry who doesn't pay any extra income taxes even though he could voluntarily pay more). You guys are blinded by your hatred... under President Bush we have seen higher tax revenues than under Clinton!! That is a fact that you cannot explain. The top 10% already pay 70% of the taxes. The bottom 40% doesn't pay anything. The principles that allow for small business to grow also help the rich. So, if you cut one, you cut the other. Unions, although needed at one time in U.S. economic development, have caused us to become EXTREMELY inefficient within our economy. But you don't think about these, just stories that touch your emotional button!! I am trying to figure out how United Airlines screwed you?? Ran away with your retirement!! Well, since you didn't go into detail I am led to believe that you are lying and trying to use it for propaganda purposes. Democrats blocked attempts to regulate Fannie & Freddy in 2003 by the Bush Administration and 2005 by McCain and other Republicans. However, they don't fit your storyline, so you just leave them out of your argument!! Conveniently!
