how does Walmart handle the cost of stock options?

As an employee of Walmart, i exercised some stock options last year and cant figure out what my cost is. I had taxable compensation added to my w-2 but don't know if that is my cost or not.

1. cant you call the regional or the hot line or ask your local personnel office???? if not, and sometimes you cant, i worked for them for many awful years, you can xerox and send it all to arkansas for clear explanation.
