Should I buy incentive stock options?
My company has offered me ISO's (incentive stock options), but I've never bought stock and don't know the ramifications. I work at a company that plans to go public in about a year and is doing well. Any ideas and/or thoughts would help. Thanks!

- If you know your company and the management is hard working and honest, they are turning a profit and you think the business has good prospects for success then YES! Many people have gotten rich beyond their wildest dreams working for successful startups.
- an option is the right but not the obligation to buy or sell a stock at a point in the future. if you know the company and its management well then yes, this could be very profitable to you.
