2. ThinkOrSwim would be a great choice.... assuming you've got several years of investment experiance. Great platform. I like the platform and education much better on TOS. Customer service is poor on IB. IB does not do mutual funds. TOS does not charge transaction fees on Mutual Funds for the first 3 trades a month. That includes the typical funds like Janus and funds like Vanguard, dodge & Cox and Fidelity (which with most brokers have a trasaction fee.
