Is "Better Trades" a scam?
They are offering an option trading course...does anyone know anything about this?

- I'm not sure, as I haven't heard of them. Please put an URL up so I can go check them out. But it seems like you're looking to learn to trade. Do what I did, go to http://forex-currencyexchange.com and click the link at the top left corner, if I remember correctly. Then you can learn to trade the Forex with a free $100,000 demo account. Once you get to the sign up page, all you have to do is give them your name and email. It's so much fun trading with virtual money... and addicting. The only problem is, more often than not, you will be wishing you were trading with real money. You never know, this may be something that you have a knack for, then go ahead and try your hand at it with the real stuff. I believe trading currencies is much better than gambling with the stock market these days that's for sure. It really is some good hands on training. I'm not sure about now, but you used to be able to trade with just $10. Just be sure you have enough knowledge under your belt before you start using your hard earned cash.
- Yes, it is. Once you get past the initial 3 or 4 thousand dollar fee for the seminar, they "trap" you into needing "optional tools" necessary to trade the method costing upwards of $6K or more. Then their website is constantly hawking other webinars costing 150-200 dollars. They say they're in the education business, but are really in the scam/ripping off your money business. - I went to their free sales pitch. It's expensive, they seem to oversimplify things, and I have serious doubts about whether they are selling anything useful to even the most newbee investors. They glossed over my one hard question, and would not give me the chance to ask another one. It is a typical hard sell, with a limited number available at the "buy in the next 10 minutes" price and huge discounts if you buy two. My best guess is that the sales guy gets $1500-$2000 of your $3500 initial purchase, maybe more. They are inconsiderate of others. The pitch started 20 minutes late, and they would not allow anyone in the door until they were ready, so we all stood around like in high school.
